“I had never shared my faith before Big Break. This was somewhat due to fear, but also due to feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness. This week, the Lord was able to show me that He chose me and trusts me to be his vessel and I can fully rely on him to strengthen me and guide me as I share my faith. I don’t have to be perfect or have a spotless record to tell others about God. He will empower me and use me no matter where I am at. If anything, the Lord used my past struggles and sins to relate more intimately with those who I shared with. God revealed his faithfulness this week through giving me courage and boldness. As a result of His faithfulness, I witnessed seven brothers and sisters receive Christ this week as their Lord and Savior and there was a grand total of 309 people that committed their lives to Christ this week through talking with Big Breakers.” -Rachel
“I saw God work in my heart. He made me more comfortable praying in groups and sharing my faith. I trusted God to lead me into spiritual conversations with people and He did. I was amazed that once I trusted God to give me words to say that He actually did speak through me. God has also stirred up my heart for the lost.” -Keith
“I was very nervous to share my faith, but God was always there with me and spoke through me. God also had the men on this trip open their arms of love up to me. I didn’t know many people in SI before coming here, but have made many brothers and sister in Christ that I am excited to be with.” -Tyler
“This week God really touched my heart through the messages that were spoken, as well as conversations I had. Coming home from this event I have a desire to read the word and learn it more than I ever have.” -Bobby
“God really challenged me to take steps of faith in the area of evangelism. Once I was faithful both with coming to Big Break and with going up to people to share the gospel with them He showed me that the rest was up to Him. He spoke through me in all instances, but one in particular stuck out. My friend Matt and I were able to present the gospel to a High School boy and girl. These hearts were just open and ready to hear what God did for them and they gave their hearts to Christ. It was an awesome experience and one that truly had an eternal outcome.” -Ben
